Senior Managing Director

Paul Wolter is a Senior Managing Director at Revere. Since February 2018 he has managed the operations of Hydroacoustics Inc, in Henrietta, New York, and since August 2019 has directed the management of Techno-Aide, both companies being majority owned private equity investments of Revere Capital Advisors LLC. Prior to joining Revere in 2009 he was Chief Operating Officer at Broadmark Asset Management LLC, and before that two years at Treflie Capital Management LLC, a fund of funds manager, as Director of Research and Operations. Mr. Wolter was an independent Management Consultant (2002-2006), providing both industry consulting and contract executive assignments, including one as interim-CEO of electronic lock maker Onity Inc, in Gwinnett, Georgia, transitioning the Chubb PLC owned entity to its purchase by United Technologies Inc.

His experience includes twenty five years in the commodities industry, beginning at E.D. & F. Man Ltd in London in 1977 before moving to New York in 1979. In New York was responsible, first for the sugar trading and later, the coffee trading operations, before joining Machado Inc in 1987, with responsibility for their coffee and cocoa trading operations. He re-joined E.D. & F Man Inc in New York in 1994, as Executive Vice-President, responsible for corporate development, asset allocation, risk control, and acquisition integration.  Mr. Wolter graduated from Cambridge University in 1977, earning an M.A. in History.
