  • Daniel Barnett — CEO and Co-Founder

    Dan Barnett is the Chairman, CEO and Co-founder of Revere. He is the former CEO and current Chairman of Broadmark Asset Management LLC, an institutional money management firm. Previously Mr. Barnett was the President of McKinley Offshore Management, Ltd. from 1996-1998. He was the owner and CEO of Machado & Co. Inc., a coffee and cocoa trading firm in New York, from 1986 to 1992 and again from 1993 to 1996. From 1976 to 1986 Mr. Barnett held various roles including CFO, Finance Director and Board Director at E.D. & F. Man in London and Farr Man & Co in New York. After serving as a Commissioned Officer in the United States Navy from 1970-1972 he began his investment career as a Commercial Lending Officer in the Commodity Lending and Finance Division of the Chase Manhattan Bank.  Mr. Barnett earned a BA, with distinction in psychology, from Dartmouth College.

  • Harvey McGrath — Co-Founder

    Harvey McGrath was Chairman of Prudential plc, the FTSE 100 financial services company. He is Chairman of the London Development Agency, working for the Mayor to coordinate economic development and regeneration, and Vice Chair of the London Skills and Employment Board, responsible for the adult skills strategy in London. He is the former Chairman of Man Group plc, the London based FTSE 100 fund manager. Mr. McGrath retired from the Man Board in November 2007, having been appointed Chairman in March 2000 and previously Chief Executive in 1990. He joined Man in 1980 from Chase Manhattan Bank.

    Prior to taking on the Chair of the London Development Agency, he was Chairman of London First, the capital’s influential business campaign group, a director of Gateway to London, the inward investment agency for the Thames Gateway, and Chairman of the East London Business Alliance, a partnership of substantial businesses engaged in the social and economic regeneration of East London. He is a founding donor and trustee of New Philanthropy Capital, a research based charity which gives advice and guidance to donors; a trustee of Charity Technology Trust, which is focused on helping the charitable sector use information technology more effectively; and a trustee of the Royal Anniversary Trust which operates the Queen’s Anniversary Prizes for Higher and Further Education. Sir McGrath was Knighted by Prince Charles in 2016. He has an M.A. in Geography from St Catharine’s College, Cambridge University.

  • John Kinder — Co-Founder

    John Kinder founded and manages Rivertrade Limited which invests in a range of companies. He is a board member of many of these including Sugaronline, an independent online information site for the sugar industry and Agrinergy Limited which is a leading provider of services to the emerging carbon credit market particularly in Asia enabling companies to create and monetise carbon assets.

    A graduate of Cambridge University John was a director from 1987 to 1999 of the Man Group plc, and managing director of its sugar division. Until 2004 he was a non-executive director of Greencore plc, a company listed in London and Dublin that owned Irish Sugar and specialises in convenience foods and food ingredients.

    John and Rivertrade are actively involved in two charities; the Eric Evans Trust, which promotes sport and activities for all, in particular the underprivileged.  Secondly Tennis For Free, which campaigns to make publically managed tennis courts available for use by all for free. Since 2005 Tennis For Free has attracted more than 60,000 attendances on the free coaching programmes helping to ‘free up’ more than 2500 park courts allowing people to enjoy a game of tennis at no cost.

    John makes many charitable donations to London theatres including the Donmar Warehouse and the Young Vic and is a member of the development committee of the Almeida Theatre.

    Mr. Kinder received a MA in History from Cambridge University in 1978.
